As reviews aren’t publicly available, here’s my take on the game:
Spoiler-free Review of Episode 2
Disclaimer: I associate with this game’s creator, Double Moon. I have associated with them slightly before the first episode’s release. As such, I am part of this game’s development, but I try my best not to influence any artistic or story decisions to Double Moon.
Overview
Light Within is still a young interactive story-driven narrative. It can be completed in about 20 minutes if you take your time reading. For the time being, the story revolves around the female protagonist Maya and her awakening of powers that make her a super heroine.
Although it is not finished, the story is in itself interesting due to the presence of unexpected events. The overall tone of the game is pretty comedic, however it knows to get quite serious for interesting story development. Expect a lot of puns, light-heartedness and struggling through Maya’s adventures.
This game is also aesthetically very pleasing. Renders are of an incredible quality for a Koikatsu-based game.
Improvement points
This game being in a very early stage of development, it lacks content. However this state is required in order to achieve more content. Other improvement points include:
No gallery/replay event system (not very important since not much content is available) ;
A few misspells here-and-there.
Double Moon already has a working gallery system that they implemented in one of their other games (Love Lurker). As such, the first point will soon be resolved, and the text is always being checked for mistakes, so that should cover the other point.
Overall
Despite being quite lacking when it comes to content, Light Within shows great promise. The lore elements that have been introduced so far could lead to interesting results that only time and Double Moon can tell. It is a game worth checking for updates every once-in-a-while.
Thanks for playing! The game just started and there's a ton more to come, including animations in future updates! Episode 2 is already available on patreon: here Soon coming to the public.

it is not worth downloading and playing in its current form.
Its not bad, its hard to tell quality actually, there aren't any animation scenes, and there is only 1 choice.
just needs a lot more content before its worth playing imo. keep at the grind.
